Dr. Stephanie R. Chiappetta
Licensed Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Stephanie grew up in the Metairie area and is a graduate of Mount Carmel Academy. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders from Louisiana State University and was granted her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2010. Dr. Stephanie has well-rounded & diversified experience within the field of Audiology. As a student, she worked at Arkansas Children’s Hospital where she did newborn hearing testing on NICU infants and participated in research projects. She also gained clinical knowledge while working with a very busy ENT practice in South Arkansas. Dr. Stephanie ran two successful private practices in central Arkansas before taking a job as a Regional Sales Manager for a major hearing aid manufacturer. This allowed her the great privilege to return home to New Orleans.
Dr. Stephanie is excited to join HCGNO and to serve the patients of south Louisiana with their hearing healthcare needs. She has a true desire to work with the adult hearing impaired population and loves being able to help families communicate & reconnect through the gift of hearing.
Personally, Dr. Stephanie’s passion is Camp Pelican, a non-profit organization that puts on a week-long camp for children with pulmonary disorders such as Cystic Fibrosis, Asthma & ventilator dependency. She has been on this volunteer staff for more than 15 years and it is truly her joy to bring a week of happiness to those children who would not otherwise be able to attend summer camp.
